About
I started Tangram in Des Moines for the women I kept meeting: small business owners, neurodivergent thinkers and dreamers, the ones running everything and making it look easy.
Most of us spend our days looking capable, calm and handled. It works right up until it's the only version of you anyone gets to see.
Tangram puts you in a room with six women who see the whole picture. They tell you the truth, they build you up, and they show up again two weeks later.
A tangram is seven pieces cut from one square. Every shape is already in there, and you get to choose the one you make.

Our mission
To close the revenue gap for women who own small businesses, with boards that meet, introductions that fit and capital women raise for each other.
Our vision
A woman running a business never carries the big calls alone, and what she builds grows as large as she chooses.
Women own four in ten US businesses and bring in about 40% of the revenue men's businesses do. Tangram works on that gap three ways: peer boards of six, Seven for the introductions, and, once the first boards are seated, a grant and an Angel Club members fund for each other.

Freedom in the shape you choose.
