Tangram (“Tangram,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and the services offered through it. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit the site, run the diagnostic, contact us, or message us through the chat widget. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Information you give us. The website address you submit for the diagnostic, the answers you select, any financial figures or sales call transcripts you choose to upload, and details you share when you contact us or message us through the chat widget, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
• Account information. If you create an account to view your results, we store your email address and authentication details needed to sign you in.
• Information collected automatically.Standard technical data such as your browser type, device, pages viewed, IP address, and the page that linked you here. Some of this is used to attempt to identify who is visiting — see Visitor identification below, which explains that plainly rather than leaving it inside a sentence about site performance.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Run your diagnostic and prepare your results.
• Create and secure your account and deliver the results to you.
• Respond to your questions and provide account and service messages you ask for.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the website and our services.
• Understand who is interested in the membership, so we can follow up with people who look like a fit.
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse or fraud.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not buy or sell contact lists, and we do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.

You keep ownership of the information you submit. Ownership of the site, the Tangram framework, the tangram builder, and all related content and materials, however, rests with Tangram LLC (owned by Primortul LLC), as set out in the intellectual property section of our terms of service.

Phone numbers and messaging (SMS)

If you give us your phone number, through a form, the chat widget, or in conversation, we use it only to send you account and service messages related to your request, such as confirming your diagnostic, replying to a question, or coordinating a conversation you started with us.

• Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are never required to agree to receive text messages in order to use the site, run the diagnostic, or work with us.
• Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on the conversation you start with us. We do not send recurring marketing text blasts.
• Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge for messages you send or receive, according to your plan.
• How to opt out. Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help. You can also email us at hello@tangrm.com to opt out or to ask us to delete the phone number we hold for you.

We do not share phone numbers or messaging opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing, and we do not sell them. Mobile information is not shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.

The chat widget

Our chat widget is provided by LeadConnector and appears on every page of the site. When you send a message through it, the content of your message and any contact details you provide are processed so we can reply and continue the conversation. The same messaging choices above apply: you can stop messages at any time and ask us to delete the details you shared.

Visitor identification

Alongside Google Analytics we run our own software, called LeadLens, built and operated by Primortul LLC — the company that owns Tangram. It is not an aggregate analytics tool, and we would rather describe it plainly than let a neutral-sounding name do the work.

For each visit it records the pages you look at and the page that linked you here. It then attempts to work out who you are: technical details of your visit, including your IP address, are matched against a third-party data provider, People Data Labs, which may return an organisation and — where its data allows — an individual, with a name, job title, employer, and business contact details. Where a match is found we keep that record, it is visible to us in a dashboard, and it may be emailed to us.

The same software runs on other websites operated by Primortul LLC, and records may be associated across them.

It sets no cookies, and it honours the Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals — if your browser sends either, nothing loads and nothing at all is recorded for your visit. Most browsers can send Global Privacy Control, and several do by default.

You can also ask us to delete anything we hold about you by emailing hello@tangrm.com. We will do it, and you do not have to give a reason.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us run the site and deliver our services. These providers may only use the information to perform work on our behalf and must protect it. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Our main service providers include:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (including tangram builder uploads).
• Netlify — website hosting and delivery.
• LeadConnector — chat widget and related messaging infrastructure.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Google Analytics — aggregated site usage analytics when enabled.
• LeadLens — our own visitor-identification software, operated by Primortul LLC. See Visitor identification above.
• People Data Labs — the third-party data provider LeadLens queries when it tries to identify a visitor.

How we protect and keep information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. We keep information only as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Diagnostic inputs and results are kept while your account is active or as needed to deliver your results. Builder uploads are kept until you delete them or close your account, unless we must retain a copy for legal or security reasons. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of messages at any time. To make a request, email us at hello@tangrm.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale or sharing. Residents of several other states have a right to opt out of profiling. If you would rather we did not try to identify you, sending Global Privacy Control from your browser stops it before anything is recorded, and emailing us has the same effect.

Email updates

If you sign up for a webinar, newsletter, or other email update, we use your email address only to send what you asked for. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the message or by emailing us. Transactional messages related to your account or a service you requested may still be sent when necessary.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. When enabled, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure traffic and usage in aggregate. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them. You can also install Google’s opt-out browser add-on if you prefer to limit analytics cookies.

Children

The site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be made clear on the site.
